מסיפס

מְסִיפָסm. (= מסיפסף; סוּף; cmp. פְּסִיפָּס, פִּסְפָּס with which our w. interchanges) border-mark, partition consisting of wooden or stone pegs, contrad. to מחיצה or כותל partition wall. Erub.72a (Ms. O. twice פּסיפס, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 10), opp. to מחיצה עשרה a partition ten hand-breadths high. B. Bath.2b במ׳ בעלמא (Ms. M. בפְסִיסִין, v. Rabb. D.
